“Healing comes in waves. On some days you will drown, and on other days you will float. On some days you will feel broken, and on other days you will feel renewed. Be patient with yourself."

Hi! My name is Diana Rabban and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have been fortunate to work in this field for over 10 years in various settings. Life can be tough and starting therapy can be too, but you’re not alone.

My work has been primarily focused on helping individuals with complex trauma find healing. In my practice, I use a trauma informed and client centered approach. I incorporate techniques from a variety of treatment modalities including EMDR, CBT, and SFBT. But more important than any treatment modality is the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming place for you. I use a collaborative approach with each person because you are the expert on yourself.

As a daughter of immigrants, my identity always felt complicated. Learning to embrace all my parts helped me feel whole. If you feel like you’re not enough or are struggling with understanding who you are, then you’ve come to the right place. I help clients to heal their wounded parts and learn to be compassionate to themselves in the process.

Please contact me with any questions and to schedule a free consultation. Whether it’s here or elsewhere, I truly hope that you find what you are looking for in a therapist and wish you well on your journey.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified EMDR Therapist. I grew up in San Diego and attended UCSB where I graduated with a BS in Psychology and SDSU with a Masters of Social Work. I have been in the mental health field for over 12 years. I am the co-author of The Girl’s Guide to Relationship Sexuality and Consent and author of Is this Really Love? (Spring 2025).

Mental health is extremely important to me, as I have had my own struggles with anxiety and self-worth. I am proud to say that I am a therapist who goes to therapy and believe that we all deserve a space that allows us to feel and heal. Through my education, personal journey and clinical expertise, I am confident in my ability to support you in your process towards healing and personal growth.

I specialize in supporting individuals in overcoming childhood and attachment trauma, breaking free from emotionally abusive and dating from a place of empowerment. My mission is to empower you to live authentically, develop a strong sense of self-worth and have healthy and meaningful relationships in your life that make you feel good. I utilize evidenced based therapeutic modalities including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. My style is warm, collaborative and solution-focused.
